Downtown tour highlights include; Fisherman’s Wharf, Barbary Coast / Financial District, Ferry Building, South of Market, City Hall, Union Square, Chinatown, North Beach, Lombard Street and Pier 39.

San Francisco Bus Tour Fun Fact: Often billed as the "crookedest street," San Francisco's Lombard Street is, in fact, neither the crookedest nor the steepest street in the city, let alone the world. Oddly, that fact doesn't deter the hordes of tourists who come every year to see this famous street, built with eight switchbacks on a 40-degree slope.

The main attraction of Lombard Street is watching people drive down the crooked, one-block section, or driving down it yourself. On a busy day, a seemingly-endless stream of automobiles and scooters buzz down, their passengers squealing in mock fear at every turn. If you're on foot, you can walk down (or up) the sidewalks and watch the show.

2) San Francisco Bus Tour 5 in 1 Package: Golden Gate Tour

Daily at 10AM, 12PM, 2PM and 4 PM

The Golden Gate tour of San Francisco lasts approximately 90 minutes and departs from our Fisherman’s Wharf location and heads to the Palace of Fine Arts for a brief photo stop. From here we head towards the Golden Gate Bridge, passing Crissy Fields and then crossing the 1.7 mile span of the Golden Gate Bridge. The bus will stop at the North Vista Point for a 10 minute photo stop where you can get great pictures of Alcatraz and the San Francisco skyline.

From the Vista Point, the bus will go back across the Golden Gate Bridge and explore the Presidio National Park, and the mansions of Pacific Heights. Our San Francisco double decker bus will then return you to our Fisherman’s Wharf location where you can join one of our many other tours.

San Francisco Bus Tour Fun Fact: The most photographed bridge in the world was completed in May 1937 after 52 months of construction and a cost of $35 million. Designed by Joseph Strauss, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world at that time, at a length of 1.2 miles. It was designed to withstand winds of up to 100mph as it swings up to 27 ft. The bridge connects San Francisco and the Presidio to the Marin Headlands in Marin County to the north. Its name comes from the 'gateway to the gold' harbor entrance named during the Gold Rush. The official paint color is 'international orange' It takes a team of 25 people 11 1/2 months to paint and it is painted every year, using 1000 gallons of paint a week.

3) San Francisco Bus Tour 5 in 1 Package: Golden Gate Park Tour

Departs Monday through Saturday at 10am and 2:30pm from Union Square (outside of Macy’s)

The Golden Gate Park Tour departs from Union Square and heads along Geary St., past St. Mary's Cathedral and San Francisco's Japantown.  From here we visit Alamo Square, home to the world famous "Painted Ladies" Victorian houses. The bus then whisks you towards the beautiful Golden Gate Park.  Within the park you can visit such renowned attractions as the De Young Museum, Japanese Tea Gardens and the new multimillion dollar California Academy of Sciences which features an aquarium, a planetarium, a natural history museum and more all under one “living” roof.  On the return from Golden Gate Park, the bus visits the famous Haight Ashbury district then up to Alamo Square for a second time, passing directly in front of the "Painted Ladies" for a fantastic photo opportunity before visiting the Civic Center and returning to Union Square.

San Franciso Bus Tour Fun Fact: What's larger than New York's Central Park, once consisted of sand dunes, is now covered with more than one million trees and is bison-friendly? To the people in 1870 out of the prescient notion that San Franciscans would one day feel overcrowded. This foresight proved invaluable, as 75,000 people now visit the park on an average weekend.

4) San Francisco Bus Tour 5 in 1 Package: Sausalito Loop

Daily at 9AM, 11AM, 1PM, 3PM, 5PM.

The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most beautiful and iconic landmarks in the world, but have you ever wondered what is on the other side, north of San Francisco?  This loop takes you across the Golden Gate Bridge, into the picturesque coastal town of Sausalito.

Catch our Sausalito Loop bus and enjoy a scenic ride through the Marina neighborhood of San Francisco.  Before crossing the Golden Gate, you’ll stop at the Palace of Fine arts for a great photo opportunity.  Feel the wind in your hair, smell the salt in the air and get the best view of the Bay and Alcatraz while crossing the Golden Gate Bridge and stop for pictures at Vista Point.  Hop off in Sausalito and take your time to explore this artsy town full of boutiques, art galleries and café.

San Francisco Bus Tour Fun Fact: Sausalito takes its name for the "little willow" trees (Saucelito) which 18th century Spanish explorers found growing along its streams. Sausalito is a small town of only 7,500 residents, best known for its spectacular waterfront views. It's a quiet, charming town that some say reminds them of the Mediterranean.
